  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

NIST's (OAM) manages NIST outreach in advanced manufacturing, including providing federal financial assistance in programs such as AMTech and open-topic competition Manufacturing USA institutes. The OAM also serves as the headquarters for the interagency Advanced Manufacturing National Program Office (AMNPO). If hired as an Information Specialist for OAM, you will serve as a Partnership and Outreach Coordinator responsible for:

  • Coordinating key projects and programs across the Division's portfolio of communication, outreach, and education and workforce development-related products and services for and with Manufacturing USA network partners.
  • Coordinating with project leads and the Division Chief to monitor plans, timelines, and deliverables for the Manufacturing USA strategic communications campaign with contractors
  • Supporting website postings (including identifying content), drafting and editing social media copy, assisting with the distribution of public-facing email communications, and tracking and editing PowerPoint slides
  • Providing operational support of work streams associated with key annual projects
