Major duties include but not limited to the following:

  • Review recruitment processes and submissions verifying all legal and regulatory requirements are met, including proposed Executive Qualification Requirements, Executive Core Qualifications and ERB operations.
  • Utilize automated recruitment systems to include USA Staffing, HR Smart, Executive & Schedule C systems, Vacancy tracking, etc.
  • Develop vacancy announcements and assess minimum qualifications of applicants using OPM and SES qualifications standards.
  • Facilitate rating panels and advise on procedural/regulatory requirements governing the merit staffing process.
  • Generate various documents to provide advice, guidance and solutions for complex issues.
  • Effectively communicate orally and in writing.

Promotion Potential: The selectee may be promoted to the full performance level without further competition when all regulatory, qualification, and performance requirements are met. Selection at a lower grade level does not guarantee promotion to the full performance level.

Work Schedule: Monday - Friday; 8am-4:30pm
