Duties include but not limited to the following:
- Independently researches and develops specific SES or Senior Professional policies or participates with supervisor in broader policy development activities.
- Writes and develops CSEMO Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), as appropriate, or assists Subject Matter Experts in writing and developing SOPs.
- Reviews manuals, documents, OPM and VA guidance to maintain current knowledge of pertinent laws and new developments in senior executive and senior professional HR programs, activities, and operations.
- Advises supervisor and management officials on the technical aspects of SES program management policies.
- Prepares options and recommendations on the application of these policies to sensitive and controversial personnel issues.
- Participates with management officials in developing solutions to specific problems associated with changing requirements or business needs, and in the design, development, and evaluation of ongoing and/or emerging CSEMO issues.
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday; 8am-4:30pm
