As an HR Specialist (Employee Benefits), you will:
The following are the duties of this position at the GS-13.
- Provide expert authoritative technical advice and assistance to senior management and customers covering the full spectrum of injury compensation claims with Office Workers Compensations Program.
- Develop, initiate, and direct OWCP program strategic planning activities; identify long and short term objectives, and formulate Service-wide OWCP program strategies for top management.
- Serve as an analyst and leader for HR related program areas, provide expert assistance and advice on personnel management issues and special assigned projects.
- Independently or collaboratively develop and explore alternative HRM solutions and recommend new or modified programs to management.

Starting at $99,200 Per Year (GS 12-13)
