Our client is seeking a dedicated Sr. IT Developer to join their dynamic team. This role is remote and requires a commitment to managing and mitigating risks within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Risk Register Management: Maintain and update the company's risk register, ensuring all findings are accurately documented and reflect the current risk landscape of the organization.
- Risk Assessment: Evaluate and determine the risk rating of each finding based on its potential impact and likelihood. Prioritize findings based on their risk rating to ensure timely and effective remediation.
- Remediation Planning: Develop and oversee remediation plans for identified risks. Collaborate with relevant departments to ensure remediation plans are implemented and completed.
- Escalation and Reporting: Escalate high-risk findings to senior management and relevant stakeholders as needed. Prepare and present regular reports on the status of the risk register, including findings, risk ratings, and remediation efforts.
- Accuracy and Compliance: Ensure all information in the risk register is accurate and up-to-date. Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and internal policies related to risk management.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with various departments to gather information and ensure a comprehensive understanding of risks. Communicate effectively with stakeholders to ensure awareness and understanding of risk management processes and findings.
Required Professional Experience, Technologies & Additional Context:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in risk management, Business Administration, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Skills: Strong understanding of risk management principles and practices. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Proficiency with risk management tools and technologies.
