StubHub is seeking a Platform Analyst II on the Platform Operations team that will oversee and cultivate the StubHub platform vendor catalog. As a part of our Platform Operations team, you will be an important contributor to our technology expense forecasting, reporting, and analysis functions. You will work closely with our engineering, finance, and product teams to ensure that vendors are meeting SLAs, providing promised value, accurately billing services, and overall fulfilling the needs of our engineering teams.

This role will be based in our Atlanta, GA office and has a hybrid work schedule (3 in-person days per week).

What You'll Do:

  • Manage a schedule of new vendor contracts and existing vendor renewals.
  • Collect relevant cost and usage information and work with engineering leads to create capacity and demand plans for systems and software prior to renewals.
  • Coordinate vendor contract legal review.
  • Set calls between StubHub and vendor leadership for commercial negotiations.
  • Track and coordinate incoming new vendor requests from the engineering team.
  • Lead vendor POC projects, coordinating with internal and vendor teams to evaluate capabilities and effectively onboard selected vendors.
  • Create and maintain Purchase Orders in Netsuite for engineering technology contracts.
  • Create and maintain our engineering vendor catalog. Analyze and present opportunities for vendor elimination or consolidation.
  • Analyze historic vendor spend and contribute to the annual and monthly technology expense forecast.
  • Contribute to the R&D headcount expense analysis and allocation monthly process.
  • Conduct monthly and/or quarterly team expense reviews with engineering leads.
  • Review vendor performance against SLAs, Quantitative, and Qualitative measures.
  • Identify and champion opportunities for cost savings across the engineering org.

What You've Done

  • 2 - 3 years of relevant work experience.
  • You understand how technology platforms are built and operate at scale (how vendor technologies are licensed, how they communicate and interact to run platforms, how they are deployed, where they are deployed to, and how they scale etc...)
  • You have a strong ability for creating and maintaining complex schedules and deadlines.
  • You have high financial literacy, including, but not limited to; budgets, forecasts, and financial statements.
  • You have a strong ability with analysis tools like Microsoft Excel, as well as skills like SQL.
  • You have a high bias for action with a strong ability to drive outcomes and take initiatives from 0 to 1.
  • You have a drive to seek out answers when they are not easily found.

The anticipated gross base pay range is below for this role. Actual compensation will vary depending on factors such as a candidate's qualifications, skills, experience, and competencies. Base annual salary is one component of StubHub's total compensation and competitive benefits package, which includes equity, 401(k), paid time off, paid parental leave, and comprehensive health benefits.
