As a HR SPECIALIST, GS-0201-9, you will:
- Reviews incoming requests for classification and personnel actions through the use of an automated personnel system.
- Coordinates personnel actions with the appropriate Human Resources Specialists, as necessary.
- Researches the requests to determine if requested positions are covered by any special provisions
- Provide specific advice and guidance to supervisors, managers, and employees relation's matters, to include resolving minor employee problems.
- Provide technical guidance and procedural assistance to managers, supervisors, and employees in executing a variety of employee benefits programs.
- Creates RPAs that pertain to a wide variety of moderately complex personnel actions and manpower situations by determining appropriate Nature of Action, legal authority, salary, veteran's preference, required remarks, and the impact to the employee, the supervisor, and the agency.
- Establishes and maintains official HR folders, files, and reports.
