This position starts at a salary of $139,395.00 (GS-14, Step 1) to$181,216.00 (GS-14, Step 10) with promotion potential to $181,216.00 GS-14 (Step 10).

In this First-line Supervisory CBP Officer position you will become a key member of a team of homeland security professionals detecting and preventing terrorists and instruments of terror from entering the United States. Typical work assignments include:
  • Working with CBP field and NTC users, other government agencies and additional stakeholders to gather user requirements and implement enhancements to targeting, vetting and analysis systems
  • Prioritizing system requirements, establishing deliverables and projected timelines, and communicating with internal and external stakeholders to accomplish objectives
  • Working with Office of Information and Technology (OIT) personnel to develop and implement new technologies and methodologies to address national security and terrorism threats, and combat transnational criminal organizations
  • Assisting mission-specific projects that may include enforcement operations, intelligence collection and reporting, administrative and logistical support, development, and training programs as required
  • Serving as a liaison on internal CBP, local, national, or international committees, and represent the organization on the coordination of issues with law enforcement and intelligence community partners
