- Manage the cultural resources program, including identifying, inventorying, interpreting, evaluating, and protecting archeological and historical resources; and identifying and developing mitigating projects that may affect the cultural resources.
- Locate and identify cultural resources through archival investigation of historical records and ethnographic reports to provide the background information for the cultural resource management program.
- Recommend measures to ensure the goals of environmental compliance, protection, preservation, and enhancement are integrated into the installation training mission and the overall installation Master Plan.
- The incumbent prepares environmental assessments and participates in the preparation of environmental impact statements, which addresses all environmental, archeological, and historical aspects.
