- You will serve as a Headquarters-Element EMS program management specialist within the Navy Office of Emergency Medical Services (NOEMS), Bureau of Medicine and Surgery (BUMED), U.S. Navy.
- You will adhere to and perform the prescribed continuous quality improvement (CQI) program tasks and functions as the secondary reviewer in order to ensure optimal EMS care delivery.
- You will ensure all EMS training provided to Commander, Navy Installations Command (CNIC) and Marine Corps Installation Command (MCICOM), and BUMED EMS units meets the established standards and certifications.
- You will ensure EMS units/EMS departments within CNIC, MCICOM and BUMED OCONUS systems have sufficient access to sufficient Class VIII medical consumables/supplies, medical gases, disposal of regulated medical waste, etc.
- You will develop, review, and revise existing protocols and standardized instructions and ensure they follow national, state, and local EMS standards.
- You will verify local EMS medical directors (LMDs) complete the patient care report (PCR) reviews according to the prescribed BUMED template for off-line EMS medical direction.
- You will actively engage with community partners to support the execution of national objectives and establish, foster, and maintain strong working relationships with the national, regional, and local stakeholders.
- You will represent Executive Leadership at key planning sessions, after actions reviews, and response planning meetings, conferences, forums, and symposiums.
