  • Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Acquisition Management Branch, ensuring that financial, human capital, acquisitions, and resource management complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets customer needs. Develops goals and objectives that integrate and align Division objectives with CDRUSCENTCOM Lines of Operations (LOOs) and USCENTCOM Director of Command and Control, Communications and Computer Systems (CCJ6).
  • Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities. Selects candidates for subordinate non-supervisory positions and recommends selections for subordinate supervisory positions taking into consideration skills and qualifications, and mission requirements. Ensures reasonable equity among units of performance standards developed, modified, and/or interpreted and rating techniques developed by subordinate supervisors.
  • Serves as an authoritative, recognized authority, applies Air Force Management Engineering (ME) and manpower expertise to render expert advice, and to develop, interpret, and implement policies and procedures to execute the Air Force world-wide MEP.
  • Represents the MRS in meetings, conferences, and senior-level forums as an expert consultant and advisor. Furnishes highly advanced technical guidance, executive-level information, and advice to top-level administrative and technical agency personnel, AF/A1M, SAF/MG, other government agencies, and outside organizations. Lead/supports efforts on selected projects to develop agency and Air Force positions and plans. Deals tactfully and effectively with other high-level officials from other Air Force or federal agencies, and private industry to achieve agreement on often highly contentious, complex, technical or sensitive matters.
  • Manages and oversees the OLs internal support functions to include administration; manpower requirements; military/civilian personnel management; military/civilian training; and the OL operating budget. Directs and/or leads special projects. Oversees and directs the internal programs and processes necessary to support assigned military and civilian personnel.
