As an Information Technology (IT) Specialist, you will:
- Assist, support in plan, design, develop, and integrate network systems consistent with cloud (AWS, Azure, etc.) and/or planned network infrastructures.
- Knowledge and skill of programming languages and scripts to manipulate various areas withing CI/CD pipeline providing stability, reliability, and performance.
- Analyze and define network requirements, network workload, monitoring network capacity and performance, diagnosing, and resolving network problems, for cloud (AWS, Azure and etc.).
- Responsible for assisting and supporting in the development, implement, and ensure compliance with plans, policies, standards, infrastructures, and architectures that establish the framework for the management of IT programs.
- Lead the initiative of implementing robotic process automation at the agency level working with business areas, collecting their business cases and deliver automation using standard process automation tools.
The ideal candidate: NHTSA is looking for a highly motivate Information Technology Specialist with extensive cloud engineering and development experience working with high-capacity IT systems, delivering applications following DevSecOps models, configuration management, and development skills. The candidate will be expected to make progressive and continuous knowledge on IT Modernization and cloud-smart approach which keeping abreast with the emerging technologies. Acquiring necessary and relevant IT certifications along with FAC-COR certification will be critical for this position. For private sector candidates, the willingness to learn and acquire certifications will be critical.
