  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

Specialty Care Outpatient Staff Registered Nurse (RN) executes position responsibilities that demonstrate leadership, experience, and creative approaches to management of complex specialty care. Specialty care areas include: Cardiology, Neurology, Podiatry, Orthopedics, and Pulmonary.

Major duties and responsibilities of the position:

  • Responsible and accountable for all elements of the nursing process when providing and/or supervising direct patient care
  • Assuming responsibility for the coordination of care focused on patient education, self-management, and customer satisfaction throughout the continuum of care
  • Administering medications and procedures per established policies and guidelines
  • Influencing care outcomes by collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team
  • Providing health promotion, health education and coaching on wellness, disease prevention, and chronic care management
  • Assisting in directing the provision of nursing education, orientation, competencies and providing quality improvement and outcomes utilization
  • Demonstrating leadership in delivering and improving holistic, primary care through collaborative strategies with others
  • Providing peers with informal constructive feedback for improvement
  • Fostering a safe and supportive environment conducive to the professional development of healthcare professionals
  • Contributing professional outpatient nursing perspective in discussions with the interdisciplinary team
  • Partnering with others to effect change and produce optimal outcomes
  • Supporting colleagues through knowledge sharing to provide safe, quality outpatient nursing care
