Description
The Brand Strategy team is looking for someone who will be responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive customer segmentation strategy.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of building and rolling out customer segmentations, experience with market research, and expertise in leveraging transactional data.
This role requires effective collaboration with various stakeholders including marketing, operations, and market research partners.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Customer Segmentation Development:
- Design and execute a robust customer segmentation framework using internal transactional data and external market research
- Apply statistical and machine learning techniques to identify meaningful customer segments that align with marketing and product objectives and ensure segmentation models are practical and actionable
- Validate and refine segmentation models to ensure accuracy and relevance

2. Stakeholder Collaboration:
- Collaborate with marketing and operation teams to understand their segmentation needs and integrate these into the segmentation strategy
- Communicate effectively with internal market research teams to incorporate research insights and validate findings

3. Data Analysis and Reporting:
- Analyze customer behavior, preferences, and transactional data to derive actionable insights
- Create detailed reports and visualizations to present segmentation findings and recommendations to stakeholders
- Monitoring the performance of segmentation models and provide recommendations for continuous improvement

4. Project Management:
- Manage the end-to-end customer segmentation project, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with company goals.
- Develop project plans, track progress, and address any issues or roadblocks that arise.

Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Statistics, Computer Science, Marketing, or a related field. Master's degree or relevant certifications is a plus.

Experience:
- 8+ years of professional experience in market research, customer segmentation, customer analytics or a related quantitative field
- Proven experience in building and rolling out customer segmentation models in a business context
- Demonstrated experience with market research, including both internal and external sources
- Proficiency in using internal transactional data for segmentation and analysis

Technical Skills:
- Expertise in statistical analysis and machine learning techniques (e.g., clustering, classification).
- Strong proficiency in data analysis tools and programming languages (e.g., Python, R, SQL)
- Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI)

Communication Skills:
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex data insights to non-technical stakeholders
- Proven ability to collaborate with diverse teams and manage stakeholder expectations effectively

Project Management:
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously
- Experience in project management and delivering results within deadlines.
