Job Description:
Pay Range: $75hr - $80hr
Responsibilities:
  • Serve as the go-to person for Drupal-related technical guidance and expertise, providing recommendations and solutions to the team and clients.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and analyze project requirements and translate them into technical specifications using Drupal best practices.
  • Conduct technical assessments of existing Drupal websites and recommend improvements, enhancements, or optimizations.
  • Lead and participate in the design and development of Drupal websites, modules, themes, and custom features, maintaining highest coding standards and best practices.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to Drupal, identifying root causes and implementing timely resolutions.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer sessions to technical and non-technical team members on Drupal development and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest Drupal updates, trends, and emerging technologies, and recommend their adoption to improve overall system performance and security.
  • Collaborate with the project management team to define project timelines, estimates, and technical requirements.
  • Act as a mentor to junior Drupal developers, guiding them on best practices, coding standards, and architectural principles.
Requirements:
  • Proven experience working as a Drupal developer or technical SME, with a strong understanding of Drupal 8/9/10 architecture and development principles.
  • Extensive knowledge of PHP, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and other related web technologies.
  • Expertise in Drupal site building, module development, theme customization, and configuration management.
  • In-depth understanding of Drupal theming and front-end development, including Twig, Sass, responsive design, and accessibility.
  • Familiarity with Drupal contributed modules and ability to evaluate and recommend the best modules for specific project requirements.
  • Experience with Drupal performance optimization and caching strategies.
  • Solid experience with version control systems, such as Git, and continuous integration workflows.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in Drupal projects.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and clients.
  • Drupal certification (e.g., Acquia Certified Developer) is a plus.
