  1. Make sure the webpage is open.
  2. In the Safari app on your Mac, choose Safari > Preferences, then click Security.
  3. Make sure the Enable JavaScript checkbox is selected.
  4. Click Websites.
  5. On the left, click Content Blockers.
  6. Make sure Off is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.
  7. On the left, click Pop-up Windows.
  8. Make sure Allow is chosen in the pop-up menu next to the website.

About the Role:

Join our academic-focused development team as a Software Engineer. This position is part of the Unsupervised Minions Product Team, supporting Learning Support core applications/services like Content Authoring (WordPress, SCORM, Rise), Toolmart, and LTI Tools Management.

Interview Process:

  • 1-2 Rounds (Virtual)

Key Responsibilities:

  • Front-end web development, designing and developing APIs to integrate UI applications with backend services.
  • Working in Agile teams and contributing to sprint goals.
  • Assisting in the development of learning management systems and tools to support academic projects.

Required Skills:

  • 3+ Years of Front-End Web Development experience.
  • Proficiency in PHP and NextJS (Top Priority).
  • Strong skills in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, jQuery, Bootstrap, and MySQL.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies and Jira/Git.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proficiency in Terraform with AWS and WordPress (Highly Desired).
  • Familiarity with integration of complex systems (CI/CD pipelines).
  • Working knowledge of Learning Management Systems (e.g., Blackboard).
  • Strong React/NextJS skills.
  • Self-motivated with excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
