We provide environmental permitting, air quality, remediation, weed management, stormwater management, and other environmental services to clients throughout the country.
We are looking for a finance assistant to help us excel and to grow with us. The ideal candidate will be a direct assistant to the Finance department. The finance assistant will perform duties related to bookkeeping, accounting, insurance, and more. This position requires a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and other financial-related knowledge, and the ability to work with the highest level of professionalism.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 40 hours a week average
Work Location: Denver, CO: Reliably commute to Denver office daily.

We are looking for a finance assistant to help us excel and to grow with us. The ideal candidate will be a direct assistant to the Finance department. The finance assistant will perform duties related to bookkeeping, accounting, insurance, and more. This position requires a strong understanding of accounts payable, accounts receivable and other financial-related knowledge, and the ability to work with the highest level of professionalism.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Support bookkeeping procedures for the company
- Manage the accounts payable process, which involves processing invoices, reconciling accounts, and ensuring timely payments to vendors and suppliers in Unanet
- Assist with accounts receivable tasks, including following up on overdue invoices
- Monitor cash flow and ensure that sufficient funds are available to meet the office's financial obligations
- Organize and maintain various office documents, including invoices, receipts, contracts, and insurance records
- Ensure that finance policies and procedures are followed, including data protection
- Ensure auto registrations are current
- Assistant with managing company fleet
- Collaborate with external vendors, suppliers, and service providers, including accountants, bookkeepers and insurance providers
- Provide general administrative support, such as filing, scheduling meetings, ordering office supplies and respond to emails
- Additional tasks as assigned

- 1 -3 years of accounting experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic general ledger principles
- Excel proficiency to include formula and pivot table use
- Demonstrated knowledge of Unanet, preferred
- Prolonged sitting/standing at computer
- Lifting heavy objects, include weight maximums (i.e., up to 50 lbs.)
- Repetitive tasks that can be physically demanding
Job Type: Full-time, hourly
