Bookkeeper

Founded in 2022, a dynamic design practice—with projects spanning a wide range of architectural and interior design scope—is seeking a full-time Staff Bookkeeper. With projects across the world, from residential, hospitality, and commercial in use, the work of the studio builds upon the experience of the founders’ leadership of building projects across the globe for discerning clientele and past associated design studios.

Job Description:

The Staff Bookkeeper reports directly to the Partners and Director of Operations and is responsible for managing financial transactions, maintaining accurate records, and supporting the firm’s financial health. This role oversees accounts receivable (AR) and accounts payable (AP), bookkeeping, and the preparation of regular financial reports for the partners. Additional responsibilities include managing the monthly invoicing process, handling sales tax for services and goods sold across multiple U.S. states and internationally and overseeing the procurement and sale of decorative/interiors inventory through Studio Designer software.

The ideal candidate must have strong organizational skills, proficiency in QuickBooks, and a solid understanding of bookkeeping principles. They should also be capable of managing multiple projects across varying timelines with efficiency and attention to detail.

Qualifications include but not limited to:

• Completion of a professional degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum five (5) years working experience of Bookkeeping. Prior experience in an interior design or architecture practice is a requirement.
• Experience with QuickBooks, required
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Proficiency with Studio Designer Software
• Proficiency with AutoCAD and broader Autodesk suite, with a focus on technical construction drawings. 3D Modeling and Rendering experience is considered a plus
