Responsibilities:
- Contribute to the design, development, and implementation of secure and scalable online payment solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, designers, and engineers, to define project requirements and deliverables.
- Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to maintain coding standards and best practices.
- Identify and resolve technical challenges and bottlenecks to ensure the timely delivery of projects.
- Stay up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies, incorporating them into the development process as appropriate.
- Implement security measures to protect sensitive payment information and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Assist in project planning and estimation, offering technical insights and feasibility assessments.
- Take on leadership opportunities within projects, guiding junior engineers and contributing to team development.
- Bachelor?s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of software engineering experience
- 4+ years of experience working in C# and .NET technologies.
- 3+ years of experience in designing, developing, and maintaining customer-facing REST APIs
- Solid understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum
- Experience with cloud platforms such as Azure.
- Experience with microservices and event-driven style architecture.
- Experience with NoSQL databases such as Apache Cassandra
- Experience with messaging systems such as Kafka.
- Experience with orchestration systems such as Kubernetes, OpenShift
- Knowledge of security best practices in software development
- Experience with payment processing systems.
- Prior exposure to a regulated environment, including dealing with PII and PCI data
