We are seeking a highly skilled IT professional to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a variety of experience in application development, systems integration, and solution architecture and delivery. Hands-on experience with AWS services is essential, and experience with CI/CD is desired.

You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining robust IT systems, including databases, cloud infrastructure, and custom applications, which support our business objectives. In doing so, you will work regularly with project stakeholders to establish and maintain product backlogs and iteratively deliver working solutions.

How you will make an impact:

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to establish requirements, develop product backlogs and roadmaps, and deliver high-quality business solutions
  • Develop and operationalize critical business systems, primarily implemented in Python (including other scripting languages)
  • Develop and maintain RDBMS and cloud-native stores
  • Ensure smooth integration of IT systems and services, both on-prem and AWS
  • Manage and deploy applications on AWS, utilizing services such as EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, API Gateway, ideally with build and hosting technologies such as Terraform, Packer, and containerization
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to manage infrastructure performance and scalability

What you need to be successful in this role:

  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or other related STEM major
  • 5+ years of software and systems development experience using multiple programming languages (i.e. Python, Java, SQL, Matlab, etc.)
  • 5+ years experience in Python, with a focus on pandas and NumPy
  • 3+ years experience with SQL development and RDBMS systems
  • Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork abilities
  • Solid understanding of AWS services and cloud architecture
  • Strong organizational and project management skills (including ability to work on multiple and concurrent projects)
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
