Job Title: SCCM Patch Engineer
Location: Hybrid Must report to London or Franklin County, Ohio
Overview:
The SCCM Patch Engineer is responsible for managing and deploying software updates and security patches across the organization's network using Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM) and Qualys vulnerability management. The role ensures timely patching compliance while minimizing user disruption through testing, scheduling, and monitoring of patch deployments. Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, VBScript) are required to automate processes and troubleshoot issues.
Education & Experience:

- Preferred Education: 4-year college degree
- Years of Relevant Experience: 10+ years

Responsibilities:

- Design, plan, and implement SCCM/Qualys patch management solutions.
- Monitor for emerging vulnerabilities and prioritize critical patches.
- Analyze patch compliance reports to identify and address security risks.
- Investigate and resolve patch deployment issues.
- Develop technical documentation including application functionality, test methods, and flow diagrams.
- Provide technical guidance on software reusability and best practices.
- Conduct formal mentorship and training for peers and junior staff.
