The Director of E-Commerce will be responsible for developing and executing IPPOLITA's online sales strategy, enhancing the customer experience, and driving revenue growth through our digital channels. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of luxury retail and e-commerce best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive e-commerce strategy aligned with IPPOLITA's brand vision and business objectives.
- Website Management:
- Oversee the functionality, design, and content of the e-commerce platform to ensure a seamless and engaging user experience.
- Digital Marketing:
- Collaborate with the marketing team to plan and execute digital campaigns, including SEO/SEM, email/SMS marketing, and social media advertising, to drive traffic and conversion. Actively manage third-party relationships as the main point of contact.
- Analytics and Reporting:
- Utilize web analytics tools to monitor performance metrics, generate reports, and provide actionable insights to optimize the online shopping experience.
- Inventory and Fulfillment:
- Work closely with the operations team to manage online inventory levels, ensuring product availability and timely order fulfillment.
- Customer Experience:
- Implement strategies to enhance customer satisfaction, including personalized shopping experiences, responsive customer service, and efficient return processes.
- Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor the e-commerce team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in e-commerce management, preferably within the luxury goods or fashion industry.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful e-commerce strategies that drive revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of web analytics tools, digital marketing, and SEO best practices.
- Experience in Shopify Plus platform a plus.
