Essential Position Functions:

- Design, develop, document, and support business solutions and workflows using Microsoft Power Platform.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Build and integrate custom connectors to extend platform capabilities and connect with third-party services.
- Assist Senior Solutions Architect in testing new technologies and promoting innovation.
- Assist in evaluating new and existing systems for usability, functionality, security, accessibility, extensibility, and more.
- Design, implement, and maintain intranet platform.
- Perform website and intranet maintenance, ensuring functionality, security, and reliability.
- Assist Communications and Engagement team with digital assets and related projects.

Minimum Qualifications:

- Bachelor s degree in computer science, software engineering, information technology, or a related field
- OR -
Associate's degree in a related field plus four (4) years of relevant experience. - 3 years of professional experience in software development or programming.
- Valid driver s license.

Things that may help you be successful in this role:

- Two (2) or more years of experience working with Microsoft Power Platform.
- Microsoft Power Platform certifications.
- Proficiency in Power Apps, Power Automate, and SharePoint.
- Experience working with Microsoft Dataverse.
- Knowledge of integration technologies such as APIs, JSON, REST, and OData.
- Experience with web technologies like HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects, priorities, and deadlines effectively.
- Willingness to learn and adopt new tools and technologies.
- Working Conditions:
- Approximately 95% of time is spent at a workstation and approximately 5% of time is spent outside of the building.
- Due to the nature of the Information Technology environment, the position will be such that during some periods of time, activities could be hectic and stressful. A variety of different tasks will be performed at a fast pace.
- Most of the work will be performed indoors; the position involves driving to other municipal buildings and to various locations for the purposes of internal employee and vendor meetings.
- This position is exempt from overtime pay. Typical work hours are between 7:30 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, with a lunch break. The incumbent may occasionally be required to work outside typical business hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed to meet project deadlines or support critical business operations.
