As a Senior Network Engineer, You Will
- Act as a subject-matter expert in network routing, switching, and performance monitoring, providing troubleshooting support.
- Evaluate and recommend improvements for system additions, infrastructure decisions, and cloud solutions based on business strategy.
- Provide guidance and leadership to IT staff, including managing incident resolution and ensuring hardware/software compatibility.
- Deploy, maintain, and monitor network hardware, services, and settings, ensuring compliance with industry standards and operational requirements.
- Collaborate with security teams and develop automation solutions to enhance system performance, security, and migration tasks.
- Active DoD Secret security clearance
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent
- 5+ years of primary role operating, troubleshooting, installing network routers and switches
- 5+ years primary role designing, architecting routed and switched networks
- 2+ years as senior or lead engineer in planning, designing, and building software defined networks.
- 3+ years of working in a DoD environment
- IAT level III certification (i.e., CASP+, CCNP – Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH)
- One nationally recognized network certification
