Job Summary:

The Traffic Project Manager for the Marketing Team will focus on the strategic operational and logistical aspects of marketing campaigns, ensuring the successful delivery of projects through effective management and oversight of cross-functional teams. you will be responsible for overseeing the seamless flow of marketing projects across multiple teams and departments, ensuring that all tasks are executed with efficiency and in accordance with established timelines. As the primary point of contact between the creative, marketing, and development teams, you will be tasked with managing project timelines, allocating resources, and driving the coordination of tasks across teams to guarantee the timely and successful completion of marketing initiatives. This role requires strong leadership in project management, an in-depth understanding of marketing workflows, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead the end-to-end management of marketing projects, guiding them from initial concept through to completion. Ensure all project objectives are met, deadlines are adhered to, and scope is maintained in accordance with business goals.
  • Traffic Management: Manage the flow of marketing materials and tasks through various cross-functional teams (creative, content, digital, etc.) to ensure timely delivery of all campaign assets. Allocate resources and manage team priorities to ensure seamless execution.
  • Strategic Process Optimization: Continuously evaluate and refine internal processes to enhance operational efficiency, proactively identifying and removing any bottlenecks that may hinder the progress of projects and campaigns.
  • Reporting and Communication: Lead the reporting efforts for all projects, tracking progress and providing clear updates to senior leadership. Ensure transparency in project status, highlighting any risks, issues, or delays, and provide actionable recommendations for mitigation.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration and Facilitation: Serve as the key liaison between various stakeholders—including designers, copywriters, digital marketing specialists, and external agencies—ensuring alignment on project goals, deliverables, and timelines. Maintain a clear flow of communication between all parties involved.
  • Quality Assurance and Oversight: Ensure that all marketing assets and collateral meet the organization’s high standards of quality and adhere to brand guidelines. Oversee final approval processes, ensuring that all project requirements are met before assets are delivered or launched.


Responsibilities:

Project Management

  • Lead the complete lifecycle of marketing projects, from inception to completion, ensuring projects are completed on time and within the allocated scope and budget.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans, task lists, and timelines, providing ongoing oversight and ensuring all project milestones are achieved.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership, marketing, design, and digital teams to define project objectives, deliverables, and requirements, ensuring clarity and alignment throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Maintain an organized system for tracking project status, deliverables, and deadlines, providing senior leadership with regular status updates.


Traffic Management:

  • Oversee the flow of marketing requests and ensure tasks are assigned to the appropriate teams, with priorities clearly communicated.
  • Lead the coordination of resources—both internal and external—to ensure that projects are delivered on time. Proactively address any issues that may impede timely delivery.
  • Ensure the proper allocation of resources, including internal team members, external contractors, and agencies, to meet project timelines.
  • Allocate internal resources, external vendors, and contractors effectively to meet project deadlines and avoid delays.
  • Monitor project progress and escalate issues or delays to senior leadership as necessary.


Collaboration & Stakeholder Management:

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, design, content, and development, to ensure alignment on project goals, timelines, and expectations.
  • Organize and lead regular project meetings to update stakeholders on progress, discuss any roadblocks, and provide actionable solutions to keep projects on track.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to align traffic flow with broader marketing campaigns, ensuring that content and assets are delivered on time for execution.


Process Improvement:

  • Drive continuous improvements in project management processes, ensuring workflows are optimized for maximum efficiency.
  • Develop and maintain clear, standardized documentation for project workflows, ensuring that best practices are followed, and processes remain scalable as the team grows.
  • Regularly analyze project performance, identifying lessons learned and recommending changes to optimize future project execution.
  • Conduct post-project reviews to identify lessons learned and integrate improvements into future projects.


Quality Assurance:

  • Ensure that all marketing materials, including digital assets and collateral, meet company quality standards and align with brand guidelines.
  • Conduct quality checks before assets are delivered to stakeholders or launched, verifying that all requirements and specifications are met.
  • Review completed work for consistency, adherence to the brief, and accuracy before final approval and sign-off.


Reporting & Analytics:

  • Track and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), including turnaround time, on-time delivery, and budget adherence.
  • Provide in-depth reports to senior leadership on project status, resource allocation, and any potential risks.
  • Conduct post-project analysis to identify areas for improvement and provide actionable insights to optimize future projects.


Requirements

Education: Required - Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Communications, Journalism, Business, or a related field

Experience:

  • 10 years of experience in project management, marketing operations, or traffic management, ideally within a marketing or creative environment.
  • Extensive experience in managing multiple marketing projects simultaneously, ensuring that all deadlines and objectives are met.
  • Expertise in using project management tools (e.g., Asana, Monday.com, Trello, Basecamp) and other communication platforms.
  • Strong understanding of marketing workflows, creative processes, and digital marketing campaigns. Preference to agency based experience
