Job Summary

This position will design, develop, test, implement and manage an inventory tracking system for referral and authorization inventory control. The Manager will lead a team and coordinate with the Referral Management leadership team, Information Technology (IT) and other stakeholders to create the inventory control system to support the referral and authorization operations. This position manages all aspects of the inventory control system and requires a strong understanding of the business requirements and system architecture.

Education & Experience

Required:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Information System, Business or related field or equivalent experience or certifications
U.S. Citizenship
Must be able to receive a favorable Interim and adjudicated final Department of Defense (DoD) background investigation
Five (5) plus years of experience in applications management, systems analysis and systems design
Previous supervisory experience
Advanced MS Access to include design and development
Experience providing leadership in systems implementation and application design

Preferred:

Veteran or Military Spouse or military affiliated
TRICARE referral and authorization experience
Managed care experience

Key Responsibilities

Oversees the design, development, implementation, testing and maintenance of the inventory control system in collaboration with Referral Management leadership, IT and other stakeholders.
Coordinates with IT on system design, system upgrades, and related applications in support of Referral Management to ensure business requirements are met, training and system applications are tested.
Provides quality assurance oversight to ensure ongoing system support and system integrity.
Manages systems analyst team setting expectations, coaching, performance management and support.
Point of contact for internal and external stakeholders and partners.
Manages vendor relationships, establishes performance standards, and takes responsibility for inventory control.
Provides leadership and technical expertise to application development projects, maintenance issues, related support activities, and researches new developments and applications.
Provides leadership to collaboration with users, vendors, and other TriWest technical staff on problem identification, isolation, and resolution.
Maintains security standards and policies relating to system access over networks.
Performs all work duties and activities in accordance with TriWest and Referral Management policies and procedures.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Regular and reliable attendance is required.
