Risk Analyst

Description
We are seeking a coachable analytical candidate that is interested in building a controllership atmosphere with our Billing Risk Team as a Risk Analyst. The Risk Analyst will work independently with large data sets to perform internal controls over our revenue collection and asset-based expense payments, map new and existing processes, and support internal control construction.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the annual scoping and test planning of internal controls over financial reporting
• Assist in development of a series of audits to ensure reasonableness with custodial partners billing us for services.
• Identify process/control deficiencies, monitor remediation progress and perform validation of completed remediation.
• Assist billing and related process owners in the end-to-end documentation of significant business processes.
• Drive technology projects by documenting business cases, defining requirements, and executing testing with Stable Project Teams to implement new controls, improve efficacy of existing controls, automate manual controls, and automate processes to simply processes and reduce the need for manual controls.
• Assist in ongoing risk assessments with recommendations on control measures to address each risk.
• Drive collaboration and communication with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure risk management program success.
• Facilitate effective, comprehensive review of Client Experience cases, reporting root causes, patterns, and common occurrences to sr. leaders with recommendations on how to address.
• Accountable for improving accuracy by building operational capabilities that increase transparency, reduce risk, drive productivity, and improve customer experience.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities:

• Knowledge of Mutual Fund Wrap, ETF Wrap, Separately Managed Accounts, UMA Portfolios, Mutual Fund Sub-Managers a plus
• Timely, clear, and responsive communication with leadership is required
• Strong Excel & analytical skills
• Ability to work with large amounts of data to define and implement controls in a hands-on way
• Strong ability to use technology to reduce risk
• Ability to work independently & Self-directed
• Well-developed oral and written communication skills
• Outstanding organizational skills and detail orientation to ensure disciplined execution and control of complex work processes and change initiative

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $45.00 - $55.00/hr.
