We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Systems Administrator in the Information Technology industry, based in Livonia, Michigan. As a Systems Administrator, you will play an integral role in managing our IT infrastructure, overseeing a variety of projects, and providing support to our helpdesk staff.
Responsibilities:
Oversee the management and optimization of our virtual server, voice/telecom services, and distributed network infrastructure
Ensure the timely and accurate processing of system or application upgrades, patches, and fixes
Handle the investigation and resolution of system, service, or infrastructure failures
Offer guidance and support to helpdesk staff on complex issues, and handle Tier 3 and 4 helpdesk issues
Involve in maintaining internal support documentation to streamline processes and improve system security
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to provide continuous support to our IT infrastructure
Work collaboratively with the IS Manager on consolidation and upgrade projects for all infrastructure
Administer IS systems and software, ensuring that all infrastructure devices are updated to current approved, vendor releases
Handle the reconciliation of vendor invoices, working with vendors to resolve disputes, and ensure accuracy
Display flexibility to work independently or in a team as needs require, and prioritize work appropriately according to urgency.
Requirements
Proficiency in Cisco Technologies, essential for managing and configuring network devices.
Demonstrated experience with Citrix Technologies, vital for managing virtualized environments.
Expertise in Cloud Technologies, necessary for overseeing cloud-based solutions and services.
Familiarity with Dell Technologies, crucial for managing and optimizing Dell-based systems.
Knowledge of Firewall Technologies, required for ensuring system and network security.
Experience with AB Testing, beneficial for optimizing system performance and user experience.
Proficiency in Active Directory, required for managing user access and system permissions.
Expertise in Backup Technologies, essential for ensuring data safety and continuity.
Experience in Cluster Analysis, important for managing and optimizing server clusters.
