Job Description:

Client is seeking resources to aid in the management of DoDIN APL compliance activities. This role primarily consists of interfacing with Client development teams to (1) answer their questions about the specific STIG requirements, (2) confirm completion targets for specific tickets, (3) escalating tickets that are not making required progress, and (4) connecting teams with the Security PMs regarding prioritization.

The role also includes interfacing with the external DoDIN APL consultant to confirm STIG requirement details and schedule meetings for development teams to meet with the DoDIN APL consultant.

Resources should be familiar with using JIRA and JIRA queries, comfortable with quickly ramping up on security requirement details, and be willing to be very proactive in reaching out to team members. Any experience with government security certifications or specifically with DISA STIGs is a plus.

Below are the criteria for the resource in order of priority:

  • Strong PM to help coordinate between external SME and several internal teams
  • Ability to troubleshoot and research issues independently without step-by-step guidance
  • Familiar with JIRA and JIRA queries
  • Experience with Linux command line and configurations
  • Experience with IT Security
  • Experience with DISA STIGs
