Buyer II job responsibilities include:
- Monitoring subcontractor production output and on-time delivery, preparing KPI reports to ensure performance meets expectations.
- Reconciling consignment inventory with third-party suppliers and facilitating physical and virtual inventory transitions between suppliers and warehouses.
- Planning procurement using MRP, item history, and buyer judgment to ensure timely and accurate material purchasing.
- Collaborating with Accounts Payable and suppliers to resolve payment issues and maintain smooth operational processes.
- Ensuring compliance with established business policies and performing duties with attention to detail.
Required Qualifications:
- BA/BS degree in a related field or a High School diploma with 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience for a BA/BS degree holder, or 5+ years of experience for a High School diploma holder.
- Certifications such as APICS CPIM, CFPIM, CIRM; or NAPM CPM are desirable.
- Strong knowledge of Material Requirements Planning (MRP) systems and procurement processes.
