AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer w/ Harness #953586

Location: Hybrid - 1x/week in Houston, TX 77002

Duration: Initially 5 months with a strong likelihood of extension. This team is growing

Compensation: $58-$63/hr plus benefits and PTO for employees

Description:

An AWS Cloud DevOps Engineer is required to have experience with Harness and will interface with application development teams directly to make their implementation on the cloud as easy as possible with stable, clean automation. Cloud DevOps Engineers will need to have strong communication skills to work directly with developers to gather requirements for IaC and Service CI/CD automation. Quick learning and effective question-asking are keys to success at this role.

We absolutely need you to be proficient with Harness so you can help train others with this tool. You are not expected to know all the services we support, but instead are expected to learn quickly and work from existing patterns.

Required background

  • Strong experience working in AWS (additional cloud platforms are nice, but we only really care about AWS)
