What you will be doing:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and partners.
- Develop tailored strategies for key accounts and identify new business opportunities.
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet client needs.
- Recruit, train, and manage a high-performing sales team.
- Set clear sales targets and motivate the team to achieve and exceed them.
- Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback to team members.
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive revenue growth.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align sales efforts with business objectives.
- Address customer concerns and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
- Stay informed about the cannabis industry and regulatory changes.
- Train the sales team on product features, benefits, and compliance requirements.
- Monitor and analyze sales performance metrics.
- Prepare regular reports for senior management highlighting key performance indicators.
- Collaborate with the finance department to develop and manage the sales budget.
- Ensure compliance with cannabis regulations.
- Represent the company at industry trade shows and events.
- Experience managing a sales team of at least 3 direct reports.
- 3+ years of proven experience in account management or sales management.
- Sales experience in the cannabis industry required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Knowledge of MS Office Suite for reporting, communication, and analytics.
- Strong understanding of cannabis products, regulations, and market dynamics.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to travel as needed for client meetings, events, and industry engagements.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field preferred.
- Valid Driver's License
