The Billing Manager will be a key player in our financial operations, supporting our commitment to delivering top-notch patient care by managing revenue cycle processes and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
What You'll Do
- Manage the entire billing process, ensuring claims are submitted accurately, resubmissions and denials are dealt with promptly, and payments are processed efficiently
- Monitor and analyze revenue cycle metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless integration of billing systems with organizational software
- Conduct regular team meetings to discuss performance metrics, address challenges, and celebrate successes
- Maintain clear communication with patients, addressing any concerns related to billing and enhancing their experience
- Work closely with leadership to ensure alignment between billing operations and financial objectives
- Provide ongoing training and support to the billing team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurance companies to ensure timely payment of claims
- You hold a bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, or a related field.
- You have at least 3 years of experience in medical billing and revenue cycle management, preferably in telehealth.
- You possess strong knowledge of healthcare billing regulations, insurance processes, and coding standards.
- You have proven leadership skills with experience managing and developing teams in a fast-paced environment.
- You are analytical, organized, and detail-oriented, with excellent problem-solving abilities.
- You have outstanding communication and interpersonal skills, with a patient-centric approach.
- You have experience with EMR and RCM software, and are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with a willingness to learn new technologies.
