Job Description

This position requires a completed Masters Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis or related mental health field.

Innovations In Learning is seeking a full-time Behavior Management Therapist to help improve the quality of life for individuals with Autism and Intellectual Disabilities using Applied Behavior Analysis. The Behavior Therapist’s responsibilities include helping (clients) understand their behaviors, and assisting clients in developing healthier coping mechanisms.

To be successful as a Behavior therapist, you should demonstrate compassion, patience, and understanding when treating clients. This position offers a flexible schedule, with ability to work from home or office. Providing services in the clients home or day program is a requirement.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To
  • Assessment and evaluation of children and adults diagnosed with Intellectual Disabilities and/or Autism
  • Development and implementation of Behavior Support Plans
  • Individual, family, and group therapy
  • Parent/staff/caregiver training
  • Coordination of services with other professionals

Requirements
  • Must have completed a minimum of a Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Applied Behavior Analysis, or related mental health field.
  • Certification/Licensure eligible (preferred)
  • Effective communication skills
  • Excellent problem sounding skills
