Job Title: Red Prairie WMS Consultant
Location: Phoenix, AZ Onsite
Duration / Term: 6+ months Contract
Job Description:
- Core responsibilities to include Designing, Developing, Unit testing and Validation of New modification and provide support to any production issues related to Modification
- Leveraged as the BY/JDA/RedPrairie WMS solution expert for transformational projects/programs
- Strong domain knowledge in BY/JDA/RedPrairie WMS solution to understand how the Blue Yonder solutions can be configured and delivered to better facilitate customer business processes
- Strong domain knowledge in BY/JDA/RedPrairie Discrete WMS solution to construct an overall architecture for current and future customer business needs
- Able to ask appropriate questions to assess business needs that fall outside the standard solution, assess integration complexity, architecture constraints
- Lead the project team to design and develop functional specifications for modifications, interfaces, reports and screens to ensure smooth integration between technical and functional business requirements
- Lead the project team in preparing Product Requirement Specifications, test plan for modifications
- Interact closely with Development services in modification development, quality delivery and organizing demonstrations with customers on modifications.
- Creates and modifies procedural and system documentation throughout the project
- Supports the development and execution of test scripts to ensure Blue Yonder consistently meets the customer's business objectives
- Provides level 3 non-technical support during the "go-live" period
- Provides level 3 user support and verifies that the system provides the required business functions and maintains data integrity
- Serves as a technical liaison and attends and contributes to key meetings between Project Manager, key customer contacts, and customer users, up to and including key executive project sponsors.
Desired Skill and Experience :
- 8 11 years of corporate experience
- Bachelor's degree (or equivalent) in Computer Science or Engineering or other relevant discipline.
- Expertise in technical configuration of WMS product, Solution Integration, Quality Assurance, System Testing, PLSQL, SQL Server, and Performance Tuning.
- Hands-on Experience on Technical configuration of WMS product (preferably BY/JDA/RedPrairie WMS), Jasper reports, Nice labels, Pagebuilder and MOCA.
- Knowledge on interfaces between WMS and ERP/Host, TMS, WLM, T&T, Parcel, 3rd party system that integrates with WMS.
- Knowledge on integration between WMS and Voice / Material Handling / ASRS systems
- Excellent computer skills with in-depth knowledge of operating systems, client/server technology, ERP systems, Integration and Middleware technologies and applications
- Contributes to the growth of the technical consulting practice by developing and maintaining practice aids, databases, best-practice collateral.
- Ensures compliance with the following internal and external company policies and procedures: Company project methodology On-time submission of Time, Travel and Expenses report Company procedures related to travel and expenses
- Knowledge in performance tuning techniques is added advantage.
- Knowledge on Azure fundamentals
- Provides guidance to Support Services in responding to base technical issues.
- Understanding and experience with the technical requirements for the product line assigned.
- Understanding of Database structures. Understanding of various technical platforms and infrastructures.
- Understands Blue Yonder product suite so as to convey relationships and touch-points to the customer.
- Travel readiness based on business needs.
