Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor server performance and proactively address potential issues, including system downtime, security breaches, and software failures.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve server-related issues, including application errors, network connectivity problems, and performance bottlenecks.
  • Provide technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting login issues, resolving software problems, and assisting with remote access.
  • Collaborate with the IT department in Bangalore to ensure seamless support coverage across different time zones.
  • Monitor and analyze system logs for security threats and potential vulnerabilities.
  • Implement and maintain security measures to protect server infrastructure from cyber threats.
  • Assist with the deployment and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure on AWS and Azure.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Linux and Microsoft server operating systems.
  • Document and maintain system configurations and troubleshooting procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with the latest technologies and best practices.

What You'll Bring:

  • 3+ years of experience in IT support or systems administration.
  • Deep expertise in Linux and Microsoft server operating systems (Redhat 7x, 8x and Windows Server 2022 and latest).
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure cloud platforms.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Active Directory management, SAML authentication, and Microsoft Entra ID.
  • Experience with IIS and Tomcat configuration and certificate management.
  • Solid understanding of network protocols, security best practices, and VPN technologies.
  • Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
  • Experience with virtualization technologies (VMware, KVM, etc.).
  • A passion for continuous learning and professional growth.

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with server monitoring tools, scripting languages (Python, PowerShell), configuration management tools (Ansible, Puppet, Chef), and virtualization technologies.
