Work Hours: Monday to Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Job Description:

We are seeking a Sr. Software Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in RPG programming and AS400/IBM iSeries development. This role involves building and maintaining custom programming on top of a COTS AS400 solution, creating custom data feeds for clients, providing production support, and monitoring day-end processes. The candidate will also collaborate closely with onsite business and technical teams.

Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain custom programming on top of the COTS AS400 solution.
  • Develop custom data feeds tailored to client specifications.
  • Provide production support and monitor day-end processes to ensure seamless operations.
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams onsite to deliver efficient solutions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues promptly.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor s degree preferred; however, sufficient experience is acceptable.

Technical Skills:

Must-Have Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of RPG/400, RPGLE, CL/400, CLLE.
  • Experience with AS400/IBM iSeries development (developer role, not administrative).
  • Proficiency in DB2/400 or similar databases like Oracle or MS SQL Server.
  • Familiarity with tools such as SYNON, Aldon, WRKQRY, IBM i, X-Analysis, and IBM WebSphere.
  • Good written and verbal communication skills.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with cloud technologies and Microsoft tech stack including C#, ASP.NET, Angular, SQL Server, Oracle, and Azure.

Certifications/Licenses:

  • Not required.

Interview Process:

  1. 1st Round: Technical Interview via Microsoft Teams.
  2. 2nd Round: On-site interview with leadership.
