What You;ll Do (Daily Responsibilities)
As a Remote Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the design, analysis, coordination, and consulting of mechanical systems for our building and construction projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
Education Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
Experience 2+ years in mechanical design, FEA/CFD analysis, HVAC systems, or construction-related projects.
Technical Proficiency Strong skills in:
CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
FEA software (ANSYS, Abaqus, or similar).
CFD tools (Fluent, OpenFOAM, or similar).
Detail-Oriented Mindset Ability to produce accurate technical documents and reports.
Communication & Collaboration Strong skills in remote teamwork, problem-solving, and cross-functional coordination.
Willingness to Travel Occasionally visit project sites for inspections and hands-on collaboration.

What You;ll Do (Daily Responsibilities)
As a Remote Mechanical Engineer, you'll play a crucial role in the design, analysis, coordination, and consulting of mechanical systems for our building and construction projects. Your day-to-day tasks will include:
- Design & Drafting (Technical Drawings & 3D Modeling)
- Create 3D models, technical drawings, and detailed blueprints using industry-standard CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, or similar).
- Develop HVAC system layouts, mechanical piping designs, and structural mechanical components for various building projects.
- Ensure designs meet engineering codes, project specifications, and safety regulations.
- Revise designs based on feedback from architects, project managers, and other engineers.
- Simulation & Engineering Analysis (Structural & Thermal Performance Testing)
- Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the strength, durability, and stress points of mechanical components.
- Conduct Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) simulations to analyze airflow, heat transfer, and ventilation efficiency in buildings.
- Utilize thermal analysis techniques to optimize HVAC systems and ensure energy efficiency.
- Identify potential design weaknesses and suggest improvements before implementation.
- Project Coordination & Documentation (Remote Support)
- Assist with procurement of mechanical materials and components, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Prepare technical reports, calculations, and specifications for project documentation.
- Work closely with civil engineers, electrical engineers, and construction teams to align mechanical systems with broader project goals.
- Keep track of project timelines, budgets, and material orders to ensure seamless execution.
- Technical Consulting & Compliance (Expert Guidance)
- Provide expert recommendations on material selection, HVAC solutions, and mechanical system optimizations.
- Ensure mechanical designs comply with local building codes, industry regulations, and environmental standards.
- Assist clients and contractors in troubleshooting mechanical system challenges during construction and installation.
- Site Visits & Field Collaboration (Occasional Travel Required)
- Travel to project sites when necessary to conduct inspections, assess installations, and ensure designs are correctly implemented.
- Collaborate with on-site teams to solve real-time engineering challenges.
- Provide hands-on technical support when adjustments to mechanical systems are required during construction.
