Job Description

BIOLYPH is growing! We are seeking an experienced, team-oriented, and responsive Fabricator. This full-time position offers your choice of a 4 or 5 day work week, competitive benefits, growth opportunities, and a culture of life-work balance.

Our Fabricator will assist in the fabrication of Process & Production Equipment to support BIOLYPH’s business model of producing our Clients’ IVD/RUO products Effectively, Efficiently, and Economically.

Essential Functions:

  • Fabricate prototype fixtures, as needed.
  • Fabricate packaging suites, as needed.
  • Knowledge of materials: plastics, metals, wood, processing chemicals.
  • Working with fixtures and jigs to efficiently process materials into finished quality parts.
  • Secure materials required to complete projects.
  • Safely use standard machine shop tools for building components and assemblies.
  • Maintain machine shop tools to ensure availability for safe and effective use.
  • Effectively work in a team environment.

Secondary Job Functions:

  • Support Production in troubleshooting and resolving production equipment issues.
  • Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as required.

Qualifications:

  • Vocational school in related field or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated working knowledge of heat set forming of plastics, vacuum-forming process and CNC and hand routing machinery.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment in the machine shop.
  • Support 1st shift hours and potential off hour occasional needs.

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. routinely/often/occasionally.
  • Ability to crouch, bend, twist and reach.
  • Ability to push/pull 100 lbs. occasionally.
