Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Business Systems Analyst (BSA) with expertise in Payments and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) / Sanctions to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience working in financial services, banking, or fintech environments, focusing on payment processing systems, regulatory compliance, and sanctions screening.
Required Qualifications:
  • 5+ years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst in Payments, Banking, or FinTech environments.
  • Strong understanding of payment processing systems (ACH, Wire, SWIFT, SEPA, FedNow, RTP, ISO 20022).
  • Hands-on experience with AML and Sanctions screening tools (e.g., Actimize, Fiserv, FIS, LexisNexis, Fircosoft, SAS, ACI, Pelican).
  • Familiarity with regulatory frameworks (OFAC, FinCEN, FATF, BSA, Patriot Act, EU AML Directives, etc.).
  • Experience working with transaction monitoring, fraud detection, and KYC/CDD systems.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience in writing BRD, FRD, and data mapping documents.
  • Experience in working with SQL, data analysis, and reporting tools.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Knowledge of cloud-based payment and AML solutions (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
  • Prior experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Certifications such as CAMS (Certified Anti-Money Laundering Specialist) or CFE (Certified Fraud Examiner) are a plus.
