Description
You will be the Proposal and Affordability Subcontract Manager for the Rotary Wing Sensors (RWS) Global Supply Chain (GSC) team. Our team is responsible for driving proposal efforts and affordability initiatives for the Apache M-TADS, Longbow Fire Control Radar, Target Sight System (TSS), and Geospatial programs.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week

Description

What You Will Be Doing
As the Proposal and Affordability Subcontract Manager, you will be responsible for leading the GSC team's proposal efforts and driving affordability initiatives that meet government regulations and program commitments. Your responsibilities will include:
- Organize and oversee GSC proposal activities, ensuring timely submissions and compliance with regulations
- Develop supplier RFP templates and lead proposal kickoff meetings with cross-functional teams
- Coordinate cost analysis and negotiation strategies, including historical cost data analysis and trend modeling
- Provide timely responses to the US Government for RFIs and represent GSC during prime negotiations with the customer
- Manage the affordability pipeline, create step-down plans to meet program targets, and collaborate with internal and external customers
- Lead occasional Digital Transformation (DX) and Development tasks
- This role requires at least 2 days per week onsite in the Orlando, FL office, unless there are critical supplier meetings, customer meetings, or executive reviews, then up to 4 days in the office may be required.
- Some amount of travel may be required throughout the year, especially during negotiations

Basic Qualifications
- Working knowledge of federal acquisition regulations, including the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and the Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS), with experience applying these regulations in a procurement or acquisition environment.
- SAP Experience
- Working knowledge of standard contract types
- Team oriented with demonstrated organizational skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with domestic & international procurement processes
- Bachelors degree from an accredited college in a related discipline
- Lockheed Martin Global Supply Chain experience (particularly with major subcontracts where a TINA compliance plan was required)
- Proposal experience
- Affordability experience
- Risk Management training
- Experience with coaching/mentoring
- Leadership experience
- Cost Analysis training
- Negotiations with suppliers over TINA (>$2M)
