Job Responsibilities:
  • Provide technical support for end-users, resolving hardware, software, and network issues in a timely manner.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software applications, including QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and CCH ProSystem FX Tax Software.
  • Assist with system updates, patches, and security configurations to protect company data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot network performance, connectivity issues, and data backups.
  • Manage and maintain IT assets, including computers, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Collaborate with accounting staff to improve workflow efficiency through technology solutions.
  • Provide training and documentation for staff on IT-related procedures and software usage.
  • Liaise with third-party vendors and IT service providers when necessary.

Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as an IT Support Specialist, Help Desk Technician, or similar role, preferably in an accounting or financial services environment.
  • Strong knowledge of QuickBooks Desktop, QuickBooks Online, and CCH ProSystem FX Tax Software.
  • Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office Suite, Google Admin and cloud-based applications.
  • Experience with networking, system security, and troubleshooting hardware/software issues.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as in a team environment.
  • Strong communication skills to effectively assist non-technical users.
