Are you a skilled CNC Machinist/Programmer looking for an exciting new opportunity? Our company is seeking an experienced professional in the engineering industry to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CNC machine operation, quality control, blueprint reading, precision measurement, programming CNC machines, troubleshooting, machine set-up, metal fabrication, computer aided manufacturing (CAM), tooling and fixtures. This is a permanent, full-time position, offering a competitive salary and benefits package. Responsibilities:
As a CNC Machinist/Programmer, you will be responsible for:
  • Operating and maintaining CNC machines to ensure maximum productivity and quality.
  • Interpreting blueprints and technical drawings to produce precise, high-quality parts.
  • Programming CNC machines for automated production.
  • Troubleshooting and resolving any issues that arise during the machining process.
  • Setting up machines and equipment, including tooling and fixtures, for specific job runs.
  • Fabricating metal components according to specifications.
  • Utilizing CAM software to streamline and optimize production processes.
  • Conducting regular quality control checks to maintain high standards of production.
  • Collaborating with other team members to improve processes and achieve team goals.

Qualifications:
To be considered for this role, you must have:
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist/Programmer in the engineering industry.
  • Proficiency in operating and programming CNC machines.
  • Strong knowledge of blueprint reading and precision measurement.
  • Experience in troubleshooting and resolving machining issues.
  • Familiarity with machine set-up and metal fabrication processes.
  • Proficiency in using CAM software.
  • Experience in tooling and fixtures.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Relevant technical degree or certification is preferred.
