Based in Houston, TX and reporting to the global VP of Final Control Human Resources, this role is the Human Resources Business Partner for our Isolation Valves (ISV) business globally. The Human Resources Director will be a strategic leader, working to align HR practices with our company's objectives to drive operational excellence and organizational growth. The HR Director will lead all aspects of the development and execution of initiatives related to talent acquisition, leadership, employee development, performance management, compensation, and organizational culture. This individual will work closely with senior leadership and functional teams to ensure HR practices support both the current and future needs of the business.

In This Role, Your Responsibilities Will Be
- Strategic HR Leadership: Partner with the President of ISV and the ISV Global Leadership team to drive the HR strategy, ensuring it is closely aligned with business goals and objectives. Collaborate in problem solving to find both practical and strategic solutions. Proactively identify HR challenges and offer solutions to build an engaging work environment.
- Organizational Design and Talent Development: Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and talent strategies that help deliver long-term success. Lead Organizational Review process for ISV globally.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Partner with our central Human Resource Centers of Excellence to develop recruitment and retention strategies, ensuring the company attracts and retains top talent while promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion.
- Employee / Leadership Development & Engagement: Implement programs to support leadership development, career growth, and employee engagement, helping employees at all levels reach their potential and contribute to the Emerson’s success.
- Performance & Rewards: Embed the Emerson performance management frameworks and reward systems that promote accountability, recognition, and continuous improvement.
- Organizational Culture: Foster an open, collaborative, and high-performance work culture. Provide direction and support for conflict resolution, addressing employee concerns, and promoting a respectful and inclusive work environment.
- Compliance & Risk Management: Ensure HR operations comply with global labor laws, regulations, and internal policies. Proactively handle HR risks and ensure adherence to ethical practices and corporate policies.
- Data-Driven Insights: Use HR metrics and analytics to measure employee engagement, turnover, and performance trends. Provide actionable insights to senior leadership for data-driven decision-making.

For This Role, You Will Need
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field
- 7+ years HR experience working in a matrixed, industrial manufacturing, and large organization, preferably with experience as HR Business Partner
- Strong business acumen and able to align HR initiatives to organizational goals and drive outcomes
- Expertise in talent acquisition, organizational development, HR compliance, compensation, and benefits
- Proven leadership skills, with the ability to influence all levels of the organization and coach senior leadership
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills, encouraging trust
- Legal authorization to work in the U.S. (sponsorship not provided)
- MBA or Master’s degree
- HR certification (e.g., SHRM-SCP, SPHR) preferred
