Position Summary
As a Vice President of Sales, you will be a key driver of revenue growth and market expansion within our company. Operating at the forefront of sales leadership, you will lead the development and execution of strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and drive business growth.
Job Responsibilities
- Own and evolve iDC's strategic planning process, in close partnership with the CEO and COO, acting as a thought leader and domain expert
- Shape iDC's strategy by leveraging industry knowledge, experiences, and subject matter expertise
- Contribute innovative thinking and insights to iDC's portfolio and market expansion opportunities, based on deep understanding of consumer trends, product, pricing and marketing models internally and externally
- Partner with COO to operationalize iDC's long-term growth strategy, garnering buy-in and holding key stakeholders accountable to the results through quantitative analysis and dashboard reporting of key metrics
- Drive inorganic growth activities by leading all stages of the M&A process, including opportunity targeting and evaluation cultivation, due diligence, deal execution and post-deal integration
- Explore and drive other business development opportunities, such as partnerships, licensing agreements, joint ventures, alliances, etc.
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited University in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Industrial Engineering or a closely related field
- 10-15 years’ of relevant experience
- 10-15 years’ of management experience
- Technical/functional sales support experience
- Have a flexible, proactive, solution-oriented approach and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Be able to demonstrate high levels of drive, innovation, attention to detail and a strong resilience and tenacity
- Have the ability coordinate multiple assignments, work independently and be able to manage both technical and process change
- Exposure to financial or commodity trading businesses and products or experience managing technology change initiatives is an advantage
- Experience in selling in a manufacturing and distribution environment.
- Ability to champion individual customer’s needs while balancing supply chain capability.
- Ability to create positive customer perception while facilitating fairness to the broader customer base.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Business suite, and ability to learn new computer programs.
- Ability to demonstrate professionalism and good judgment in a rapidly changing, fast-paced team environment.
- Ability to multitask and coordinate multiple and often conflicting priorities.
- Maintains an outgoing, positive, friendly, and customer-focused attitude.
