Head of Global Sales Manager - onsite position located in Saint Paul, MN

We are looking for a high-performing and innovative Head of Global Sales Manager. This senior leadership position will report directly to the President of the Company. This role will be responsible for driving long-term sales strategies, setting clear goals, and leading our Direct and Reseller Sales Team. The Head of Global Sales Manager will take our Sales Teams to the next level by staying ahead of industry trends, particularly by integrating AI initiatives into existing sales processes. This role will have a direct and significant impact on the future growth of Nagios, its employees, and its global customer base.
Our ideal candidate will have a strong background in sales management and pride themselves on having a go-getter attitude and professional work ethic. They will demonstrate adaptability and a willingness to embrace new ideas and have an interest in the future of AI and sales. This candidate will have excellent skills in strategic planning with the ability to understand, create, and execute sales goals that align with the objectives of the Company.
Hours: Monday-Friday 9:00-5:00pm

Wage: $125k-$200k DOQ

Duties and Responsibilities:
- Managing, mentoring, and providing feedback to the Direct and Reseller Sales Teams.
- Train and coach Sales Team members and ensure all staff are competent in product offerings.
- Strategic planning by designing long-term sales strategies and setting sales goals.
- Create and communicate sales goals and reports to ensure upper management is informed on the progress of those goals.
- Identify ways in which to grow the business and make it happen through presentations and proposals to upper management.
- Stay up to date on the latest AI technologies, trends, and tools to ensure that the sales and marketing teams remain at the forefront of innovation.
- Use AI for sales forecasting - predict or forecast outcomes using historical data to inform future results.
- Complete consistent research on the latest market best practices and IT industry trends in order to constantly keep the business at par or even ahead of other players.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers.
- Collaborate with the Marketing Department to align strategies to work towards shared goals.
- Other duties as assigned.
- 3+ years of Salesforce experience.
- 3+ years’ experience in sales automation methodologies and tools.
- 2+ years working in an IT company or IT-focused position.
- 4+ years of experience working in sales as a sales manager or in a similar role.
- Working knowledge of Nagios’ products.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field. Candidates with a high school diploma will also be considered.
- Familiar with AI technologies and how they benefit a business.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
