About The Role
We’re looking for a highly skilled and motivated Founding Front-End Engineer to join our early-stage SaaS startup. This role will report directly to and work closely with the hands-on, product-oriented, founder CTO. It provides a unique opportunity to play a pivotal role in building our product from scratch, shaping our technology stack, and establishing our engineering culture.
While we raise seed capital, we're seeking someone who can contribute 20 hours per week to help build a solid foundation for our product in exchange for equity. We expect to transition this role into a full time, salaried opportunity as funds become available.

What You’ll Do
Design, develop, and maintain our product’s web front end and hybrid mobile app using TypeScript.
Design and build a portable RESTful API client.
Develop an intuitive and performant front end with VueJS 3.
Create a hybrid mobile app using technologies such as Capacitor or Cordova.
Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines for seamless code deployment.
Develop features requiring real-time communication, such as WebSocket-based services.
Build automated front-end and end-to-end testing infrastructure and test cases.
Collaborate closely with the founding team to iterate quickly based on user feedback.
Contribute to the long-term technology roadmap and ensure the product’s scalability, security, and reliability.
What We’re Looking For
5+ years of experience as a full-stack developer or software engineer, preferably in startups or building products from scratch.
Proficiency in TypeScript, REST API development, and VueJS 3.
An understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and NoSQL.
Experience with hybrid mobile development frameworks like Capacitor or Cordova.
Familiarity with deploying applications on AWS (e.g., ECS, RDS, S3, Lambda, etc.).
Strong understanding of software architecture principles and best practices.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and version control systems like Git.
Knowledge of real-time communication protocols (e.g., WebSockets).
Experience with 3rd party APIs, including gen AI providers.
Bonus: Experience with scalable database design and mobile app release processes (App Store, Google Play).
