Role Overview:
A client undergoing data center consolidation due to an acquisition is seeking an Apache NiFi SME to help migrate 300+ files into NiFi. The current SME lacks bandwidth, so this role will handle workflow configurations, escalations, and integrations.

Responsibilities:

Design, implement, and manage data workflows in Apache NiFi
Optimize NiFi performance, ensuring high availability & security
Monitor and troubleshoot NiFi clusters, ensuring reliability
Integrate NiFi with databases, cloud services (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform), and messaging platforms
Ensure compliance with security protocols and governance policies
Collaborate with global teams, including security & IT, for smooth data flow
Document architecture, security protocols, and API configurations

Must-Have Skills: Apache NiFi Expertise (workflows, troubleshooting, secure file transfers)
Workflow Configuration (SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS, encryption methods)
Strong troubleshooting & communication skills Ability to work independently and escalate issues appropriately

Work Hours: 8 AM 5 PM CET (some on-call during major cutovers)

Central European Time (CET) is 6 hours ahead of Eastern Time (ET) in the U.S.

For 8 AM – 5 PM CET, here’s how it aligns with U.S. time zones:
