Service Repair (SR) Stress Engineer
1. Perform Static, fatigue and damage tolerance analysis for Aircraft structures (metallic & composite structures) using classical hand calculation.
2. Understanding of load paths, extraction of loads from Finite Element Models
3. Determination of critical failure modes and performing analysis to ensure structural integrity
4. Produce dispositions for repairs of structural damage and non-conformances
5. Read and interpret engineering drawings
6. Coordinate with cross functional groups including Design, Materials & Process Engineering,
7. Generate Engineering Stress report for disposition justification.
Required Qualifications (Non-negotiable requirements):
1. At least bachelor s degree in mechanical or aerospace engineering
2. At least 5 years of experience in Aerospace Industry as a Stress Engineer
3. Comprehensive knowledge Stress analysis of Aero structures
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Experience in providing technical solutions from conceptual to detailed design stage
2. Use of Finite Element Methods for load extraction and to solve complex engineering problems
3. Experience in performing Fatigue and Damage Tolerance Analysis
4. Working knowledge of Boeing standards
5. Working knowledge of Code of Federal Regulations, Title 14, Part 25
6. Experienced in PATRAN, NASTRAN, FEMAP
7. Experience in CATIA V5, Enovia
8. Strong oral and written communication skills
9. US National holder /H1B/ EAD/F1 OPT ( with experience)
