To build and lead an efficient and effective manufacturing team. You will set the direction and expectation for coaching, performance management, and development of associates within the department that reinforces the PROCEPT culture and way of doing business.This isn't just any job - it's a chance to make a real difference. You'll be a senior leader within the Manufacturing Operations team, working closely with Engineering, Operations Quality and R&D teams on creating and driving the manufacturing and opEX roadmap and strategy. What Your Day-To-Day Will Involve:- Lead the Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering teams.
- Play a significant role in PROCEPT’s long-term manufacturing planning, including initiatives geared towards operational excellence.
- Develop & support the Operations team’s long-range plans and maintain long-range financial plans.
- Manage multiple manufacturing sites for finished goods and sub assemblies.
- Ensure to directly or indirectly optimize our production/manufacturing performance.
- Lead the development of business strategies and practices to constantly improve production capability, quality, costs and customer service goals.
- Develop and implement the Operational Excellence strategy for Operations including Lean, 5S, VSM etc.
- Responsible for capacity planning, production efficiency, DL utilization, etc.
- Develop, manage and improve production and IE metrics like UPPD, OLE, OEE, etc.
- Accountable for product planning, scheduling, scheduling, quality adherence, processing and product availability.
- Provide consultation on matters related to production, capacity, margin expansion, critical project delivery, business structure and growth.
- Propose, prepare, and implement operations initiatives to enhance profitability.
- Ensure to maximize production efficiency as well as optimize manpower usage.
- Lead, direct and monitor every aspect of production in MD manufacturing plant with strong, transformational cross-functional leadership.
- Oversee overall financial management, budgeting, planning, systems and controls for the manufacturing department.
- Partner with the planning team to drive and align on SIOP process and deliverables.
- Oversee and drive monthly and quarterly Develop and supervise annual manufacturing budgets.
- Oversee monthly and quarterly assessments and forecasts of organization's financial performance against budget, financial and operational goals. Oversee short and long-term financial and managerial reporting.
- Improve the operating systems, processes and policies in support of organizations mission -- specifically, better management reporting, information flow and production, business process and organizational planning. These systems include but are not limited to ERP, MRP, MES and QMS.
- Drive a culture that reflects the PROCEPT values of Excellence, Commitment, Ingenuity, Team work and Drive
- Ensure to comply with all manufacturing reporting as needed.
- Train and prepare associates or performance management or succession planning.
- Drive initiatives with the OLT that contribute to long-term operational excellence.
- Facilitate new R&D project transition and product transfers to manufacturing processes (i.e. DFM). Ensure to successfully complete and smoothly integrate existing production stream
- BS in Industrial or Manufacturing or a similar discipline required but advanced degree desirable
- 15+ years of experience in the medical device industry with progressively increasing levels of responsibilities
- 10+ years of experience within Operations Management – Production, Industrial Engineering, OpEX
- 10+ years of direct supervisory experience within high volume manufacturing
- Must be familiar with U.S. FDA GMP requirements for manufacturers and maintain the production operations in compliance with these requirements
- Demonstrated ability to be a proactive and collaborative leader in a dynamic operations and engineering environment
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills across all levels of the organization
- Must be able to work in a dynamic, fast‐paced environment with strong ability to establish technical and professional credibility
- Must be able to manage and resolve conflicting product and project priorities and be a strong team player with ability to collaborate across functional areas

Work Authorization Status: Citizen / Permanent Resident
For this role, the anticipated base pay range is $250,000-$290,000 per year.
Plus, eligibility for an annual bonus and equity/RSUs.

PAY RANGE TRANSPARENCY
Procept is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The pay range(s) for this role is listed below and represents base salary range for non-commissionable roles or on-target earnings for commissionable roles. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, depth of experience, relevant certifications and training, and specific work location. Based on the factors above, Procept utilizes the full width of the range. The total compensation package for this position may also include eligibility for annual performance bonus, equity, and the benefits listed above.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
We’ll provide you training for, and ask you to maintain trained status for, and comply with, all relevant aspects of the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality Management System to ensure product and support regulatory compliance. We would also ask you to understand and adhere to the PROCEPT BioRobotics Quality & EHS policies.
